FAQs for Time Off

How do I book time off for an employee?

To book time off for an employee, proceed to Employees and then click on the edit button of the employee you would like to book time off for. You will now be on the Employee View screen with a number of different options, please click on Time Off. On the Time Off menu please select Book Time Off. You will then be required to add the from and to date and the type of time off.

 

How do I approve a time off request?

All requests that come in from employees can be found by going to Time Off in the menu on the left hand side and then selecting Time Off Requests. You will be able Approve and Decline requests from here. 

 

How do I add time off balances to the payslips?

Please proceed to Settings > Time Off > Time Off Settings and then select the edit button for the time off that you would like to add to the payslips. You will then be taken to the settings screen for the time off you selected and you will see a toggle called Include on Payslip. Select the toggle and then click on Save. You will need to do this for each time off you would like to appear on the payslip. 

 

 

 

How do I add a custom time off policy?

Please proceed to Settings > Time Off > Time Off Settings. You will see a list of all the current Time Off policies, please click on the edit icon next to the policy you would like to edit. On the next page you will see the details for the policy and then you should see a tab saying Entitlement policies. Please select this tab and you should now see a list of custom entitlement policies if any have been added. To add another policy please click on the add button, complete the details for the policy and then click on Save. 

 

 

 

How do I assign leave approvers?

Please proceed to Settings > Time Off > Assign Leave Approvers. You will see an Add button on the right hand side.

 

 

How do I change a Time Off policy for an employee?

Please proceed to Employees and then click on the edit button for the employee you would like to edit. You will then see the Employee View and the 2nd option will be Time Off. The 4th option under Time Off will be Policies.
